You can install a "WoD texture pack" to help a bit if they bother you.Īll this being said, there's a new server going to go live soon™ on the legion expansion. It's a bit old, 2012 if I'm not mistaken. Something to bear in mind is that both Tauri and stormforge are on the MoP (Mists of Pandaria) expansion. I'd go with stormforge as its basically Tauri, but with higher experience rates and has a lot more players. However Tauri joined efforts with another team (don't remember their name atm) and they launched stormforge. The server is originally Hungarian but has a considerable international community. I'd suggest Tauri wow for the best coding stability. While the most recent versions of wow are more newbie friendly, the code base for those is still a work in progress which makes all those servers not a very good option. (what I mean is don't go to those PvP instant lvl 80 servers). This will help you understand the quests and lore, plus will allow you to participate in dungeons that actually work. TLDR at the end of the post.īeing that you haven't played before, I'd suggest something with good coding and good pop, with no weird mods or big changes so it's feels as Blizzlike as possible. Wanted to keep this short but instead, I wrote a huge wall of text.
